It has been couple weeks since I took Rain on a proper hike. So today I took a few hours and went up into the hills with Rain.
Taking pictures of her is my way of practicing my portrait photography. A typical shoot with her consists of me saying "Stay. Rain, stay," and Rain not staying.

All these pictures were shot on my 35mm, wide open at f1.8 |

For these shots where Rain is running toward me, I had to throw a piece of snow and have her chase it, then quickly get on my elbows and knees before she could turn around, and fire off a shot before she ran back to me. I did this numerous times. Needless to say, elbows and knees were pretty cold. |

This was pretty spotless before we got here. I had to have Rain run back and forth a few times to get some of these shots. |
